One of the most exciting additions is Joe Collins who is running against Maxine Waters. Yes, Maxine Waters, the one who has spent 44 years in the House of Representatives. Joe has a nice budget already. He was able to raise $3.1 million right off the bat. So far, he has spent it wisely, with a website featuring a wonderful video that contrasts Waters’s district with the mansion she lives in across town.

In all fairness, his video may have been inspired by Kim Klacik’s. You know, the one with her wearing red stilettos and a red dress and walking around crumbling neighborhoods in her native Baltimore. As he narrates, the camera follows Joe wearing a pair of eye-catching high tops and pointing to the devastation around the South-Central Los Angeles neighborhood he still lives in.
